I miss my eight year old daughter and wife back home in America. Many days I wonder why I’m here, rather than back home with the two of them. To make my absence worth while I wanted to work that was different then what would be made in my own studio. I also wanted the pieces to be inspired by my time in Rome. I took textures from the streets and buildings I walk around at night and the churches and museums I see during the day.
