Residency fee 2019 & additional info
The cost of a 5-week residency in the historic center of Rome or in the Roman countryside is €3000; for a month-long residency, the cost is €2500. For collaborative projects, two artists can share the housing and studio space in the Roman countryside. In that case, each artist will pay a reduced fee of €2000 for a 5-week residency, €1850 for a month-long residency. Materials and fring costs are not included.
In addition to housing and the shared studio, we offer a number of additional perks such as help with travel arrangements and airport pick-ups, museum reservations etc. If there are workshops during the period of your residency, you will have an opportunity to participate at a reduced rate. For more details, look at the sub-pages for the 'residency in Rome's vibrant center' and 'residency in the Roman countryside' under 'Residencies'.
On acceptance, we require a €500 security deposit to hold your place. The deposit will be returned to you within 30 days of the end of the residency period. Material and/or firing costs as well as any charges for cleaning and/or damages will be deducted from the deposit. The deposit is non-refundable if you decide not to participate in the residency.
